Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) instructor. This adjunct faculty position involves providing direct instruction in classroom, lab, clinical/fieldwork, or distance education settings on a semester contract basis. The primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality education to students. Adjunct instructors receive contracts for a single term, with renewal contingent upon future hiring needs. The OTA adjunct faculty will work under the management and supervision of the Program Chair/Director.
Required Education/Experience:
- Graduate of an OT or OTA program that is accredited by a USDE-recognized regional or national accrediting body.
- Associates degree (OTA); Bachelors or Masters or Doctoral degree (OT).
- Experience with occupational therapy assistants
- 1 year of teaching experience
- Currently licensed as an OT or OTA by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy, and in good standing
- Documented expertise in clinical practice area(s)
