- Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties

- Experience with planting, pruning and harvesting tomatoes for fruit analysis
- Experience recording data in the field
- Experience with leaf tissue sampling for DNA extraction
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, pollen)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- Previous experience working in agriculture research
- Ability to implement field experiments on the basis of given information
Required License or Certification
- Valid driver’s license
