This technician will process bacterial cultures, mammalian cell cultures, and perform molecular, serological, histopathology and in-situ hybridization assays for the Intracellular Pathogens Research Laboratory (IPRL). Computer skills are required for data entry, result reporting, data summaries, and responding.

Previous experience in a molecular/histopathology/research laboratory setting.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

- Four year degree in Biology or equivalent related experience.
- Benchtop laboratory skills, i. e. pipetting, culturing bacteria, microscope competence.
- Prior experience or interest in human and veterinary medicine research are highly desirable.
