Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is looking for an adjunct Instructor to teach Custodial/Environmental Services courses within the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections. This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in commercial cleaning best practices, including sanitation, safety protocols, equipment handling, and industry standards. The instructor will play a vital role in preparing individuals for employment in custodial and environmental services roles.
Applicants for this position must successfully pass background checks conducted by both Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections system.

Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in custodial services.
- Capability of delivering instruction in a classroom setting.
- Ability to demonstrate cleaning equipment, with knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their appropriate application.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning and experience in adult education/instruction preferred.
- Knowledge of job-seeking and job-retention skills also preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Willingness to work in a corrections facility with incarcerated individuals and follow rules and regulations of both the community college and the facility.
